A recording of the 2021 national EAS test that was conducted August 11, 2021. This recording is from KNOW-FM in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro, the flagship of Minnesota Public Radio's news and information service. MPR recieves national EAS messages from WCCO, the local primary in the Twin Cities, or NPR, and then serves as a relay to get the alert to the rest of the state via its regional network of stations connected by satelitte.
Recordings of Required Monthtly Tests for the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin that aired the evening of December 7, 2022. These were recorded from KTMY HD2/Coon Rapids, MN (which relays WDGY/Hudson, WI) and KNOW/Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN.

NPR

Several recorded messages from NPR's Squawk system in 2017. This is a feed used internally at public radio stations for alerts from shows and the NPR network operations center. In these messages, producers for NPR's Morning Edition and Here & Now notify local stations and hosts of upcoming changes to their show rundowns. This is important as local hosts sometimes read promo copy to forward promote the network shows, or stations sometimes record feeds to play back locally, and with updates, hosts and station technical staff may need to adjust! The Squawk channel also is used as a national primary entry point for the emergency alert system.
